In April 2015 Zoe lost her precious daughter Avery at 36 weeks pregnant, due to placental issues that went undetected. Avery herself was a beautiful, perfect little girl in perfect health, and as time went on Zoe came to learn that all too often, despite the myths that exist, it is the case that healthy babies are lost to stillbirth. Zoe is passionate about changing the misinformation that still exists surrounding foetal movements in pregnancy, as well as ensuring woman are informed about potential pregnancy complications in the hope of minimising preventable stillbirth. Zoe also co-founded a friendship and support group “Little Doves” for mums who have experienced loss in Perth, WA, in honour of Avery.
