Every day in Australia 6 babies are dying. We do not see it, these deaths are hidden, these deaths are silent – these babies are stillborn. Stillbirth is not inevitable, rather it can often be prevented. Yet rates have not changed in 20 years.
Stillbirth is the number one cause of death among infants in Australia.
This is not ok – we want change.
The Army Against Stillbirth is community standing united against stillbirth. A monthly silent vigil, a peaceful protest for change.

We would also like to invite you to stand with us in our Army Against Stillbirth. In 20 years stillbirth statistics have not changed in Australia, and we think it’s time to make people listen! We need to stand up for what is right, to save babies lives.
Please join us and stand against stillbirth in a virtual protest on the 6th of every month. We are asking you to change your profile picture on Facebook for at least 24 hours on the 6th of every month and share a photo on Instagram of the image (choose one from above) that represents your scenario. Whether you are a parent, a grandparent, an Aunty/Uncle or a friend of a child born silently into this world, you can take a stand.
